ROLL YOUR COINS DOWN THE NEW WISHING WELL

Castle Quay Shopping Centre is the location for the Rotary Club of Banbury Cherwell’s new WISHING WELL.

The Official Opening took place on Wednesday 30th November by the Town Mayor, Cllr Gordon Ross, and Rotary 1090 District Governor, Rtn. Joy Arnott.   Also welcomed with mulled wine and mince pies were representatives from main sponsor Stanbra Powell Estate Agents, Club President, Philip Brodey, and fellow Rotarians.

Chris May, Chairman of the Major Projects Committee, said that over £30 was collected in the first hour.  He urges anyone shopping in Castle Quay to go along the M&S walkway to place a coin in the slot and watch it roll round and then drop down the well.

Proceeds from “THE WISHING WELL” will be donated to local and Rotary charities.
