Having Fun and Raising Funds at The Avocet Learning Trust Celebration of Learning Day

The Avocet Learning Trust Celebration of Learning took place on Wednesday 5th July 2017 at the Pavilion in Exmouth. Children from Marpool, Exeter Road, Bassetts Farm and Brixington Primary Schools, provided entertainment throughout the day ranging from Singing, Gymnastic Displays, Poetry and Rock Music.  As you will appreciate the RotaKids were using their skills in a number of ways.

The image shows Vice President Mugabo on an ingenious Fruit Blending Machine operated by pedal power.  The object being to pedal as fast as you could which then operated the adapted fruit blender to turn the pieces of fruit into a fruit smoothie drink which was then sold for 50p per cup.  This together with various hand made goods had already raised over £200.00 on the day.
